If life were to freeze at 30 years old, would you still make the same choices?

The headache has become increasingly severe. During the National Day holiday, I visited an elder at a nursing home, an 88-year-old who became paralyzed in bed due to pneumonia resulting from a common cold, relying on nasal feeding to sustain life. I've been thinking lately about what choices I would make if my life were to freeze at 30. Perhaps many of the things that cause me distress would no longer be a concern. We are always entangled in education, positions, and salaries; or perhaps we don't really want to be entangled, everyone is just trying to live better, is that wrong? Blind dates require looking at education levels, leading to various chains of contempt: civil servants > public institution employees > private enterprises. The bureaucratic culture of Tsinghua seems to have remained unchanged, it can only be said that everywhere is a walled city. Many of my friends have resigned recently, feeling exhausted and unwilling to persist any longer. I can never see the light, nor can I see the road ahead.
